Though businesses are shaking off the recession, the effects are still there. Teams have been downsized. Working hours have been on the decline. And yet, businesses still require the same – if not more – output from their employees.
It’s no surprise that 41% of employees feel under ‘excessive pressure’ at least once a week. In fact, 13% said they felt under excessive pressure every working day. The UK is the second highest in Europe to feel this way (source: CIPD study, April 2014).
